The Delphi DCM7.1AP and DCM7.24 are engine control units used mostly in Chinese and Japanese pickups and light commercial vehicles. DPF, EGR, AdBlue/SCR and Stage 1 solutions for these two units are complete; NOx and IAT (intake air temperature sensor) off are ready too.
DCM7.1AP is not the DCM7.1A
The names are close, but the DCM7.1AP is not the same family as the DCM7.1A found in Peugeot and Citroen. Memory layout and calibration placement differ, so a solution learned on a DCM7.1A is not applied to a DCM7.1AP file. The software keeps the two families apart and matches by file identity.
Which makes
Great Wall (Poer, Wingle, Haval)
Isuzu (NKR, KV series)
Foton (Tunland, Aumark, Ollin)
JAC (T8 Pro, T9)
Dongfeng, Changan, JMC
Typical engines are 2.0, 2.3, 2.4, 2.8 and 3.0 litre turbo diesels plus the 4.2 and 4.3 litre engines in light trucks. Exact compatibility depends on the ECU variant and software version.
Reading
On supported variants the ECU can be read and written via OBD. For the free pre-analysis, upload a full read; partial or previously modified files make matching harder.
When you get a result
The identity of the uploaded file is read, donors from the same family are searched and segments are checked at byte level. If all segments verify, the file is delivered and the checksum is corrected by RemapChecksum in the same flow. If there is no suitable donor, the operation is not opened and no credit is used; you can leave a request.
