About
About RemapCloud: How the Software Works
RemapCloud is browser-based ECU remapping and chiptuning software. You upload the original ECU file you read with your own tool; the software identifies the ECU from the file itself, enables only the operations that apply to your file, applies your selection and explains the result.
Company
The company behind RemapCloud
Who owns the product
RemapCloud is automated chiptuning software. The product is owned by REMAPCLOUD (a Turkish limited company). It is a project that originated in Bilişim Vadisi (Informatics Valley), Istanbul.
The founders’ experience
The company was created to fill gaps in the automotive industry, drawing on its founders’ more than 10 years of experience and knowledge in the sector.
Fields of work
Within the automotive industry it has work and developments in spare parts and service and, today, in advanced electronics and software.

What is RemapCloud?
Software does the work
RemapCloud is not a team that prepares your file by hand; software does the work. You read the file, you choose the operation, you download the result and write it to the vehicle with your own tool.
A verified solution library
The software works with a library of verified solutions. An operation is offered only if a solution in this library really fits your file.
Studio editor
If you want to edit maps yourself, there is the Studio editor that runs in the browser: hex, 2D and 3D views. No installation or licence dongle is required. ECU Remapping Software

How it works
Upload
Upload your original ECU file
Select
The system detects the ECU from the file and enables only genuinely applicable solutions
Process
The solution is verified at hex level and applied
Download & Checksum
Credit is charged only on successful delivery. The checksum is corrected in a separate tab with the built-in RemapChecksum.
Principles
Quality principles
Rather than showing broad coverage, the basic choice of this software is to offer only what can really be applied.
Identify the file first
The ECU is identified from the content of the file, not from its name or a declaration. If a file is not recognised, the panel asks you to select the vehicle type, make and ECU yourself.
Do not open what cannot be applied
An operation that does not fit your file is not enabled. Not every operation exists for every file; the software shows this up front.
Verify at byte level
The solution is verified at byte level as it is applied; if one of your selected operations cannot be applied, the file is not delivered and the credit is refunded.
Explain the result
A result that cannot be verified is clearly labelled; an operation that could not be applied is reported to you by name, and what you need to do about the checksum is stated.
Clear information on checksum
The checksum is not corrected automatically in the delivered file. Checksum correction happens inside the platform, in a separate tab: 1 credit, charged only when the result is ready. Some newer-generation ECUs (RSA-signed) need an external tool; the system detects this and warns you.
Credits only on success
Credits are charged only on successful delivery; a job that cannot be delivered is refunded.
Users
Who is it for?
Is the software on sale, and who is it for?
Yes, it is on sale. It is for chiptuning workshops and tuners who read and write files with their own tool and want to make their own files without waiting for anyone else: Stage 1, DPF, EGR, AdBlue and module operations. "AI-assisted" means automatic identification of your file and matching it with a verified solution; an operation that does not fit your file is not offered or is clearly marked.
Who is it not for?
It is not suitable for end users who have no reading tool and cannot write a file to their vehicle: the software does not connect to the vehicle and does not write the file to it.
An honest look
Known limits
Checksum on signed ECUs
On modern signed ECUs (for example the MED17 / EDC17 / MG1 class) the checksum is not corrected by the system; an external tool or your own device is needed instead. The system detects the families it knows and warns you.
Not every operation on every file
Not all of them open on every file; the software enables only the operations that apply to yours.
Writing to the vehicle is your step
With your own tool. The software processes the file and lets you download it; it does not write to the vehicle. Before writing, keep a backup of the original file and check the checksum status.
