Software platform
Chiptuning File Service Automated ECU binary processing for tuners
RemapCloud is a software platform for automated chiptuning in tuning workshops. Upload your file, see applicable operations in the free pre-check, apply your selection with the software and download the result. Not every operation is available for every file; applicability is determined from your file. Credits are refunded if the operation cannot be delivered. Checksum correction happens inside the platform, in a separate tab: 1 credit, charged only when the result is ready. Some newer-generation ECUs (RSA-signed) need an external tool; the system detects this and warns you.
Coverage
Service coverage
The library holds verified solutions for these vehicle types: Car, Truck · Bus, Tractor, Construction, Marine, Motorcycle.

The software does the file work
Chiptuning File Service is RemapCloud's automated file processing software. Upload your original file; the software identifies the ECU from the file, opens only the verified solutions that fit it and applies your choice. If the solution is in the library, the result is usually ready to download within minutes: no queue, no office hours.
Upload
Drop your original ECU file into the panel. The pre-check is free.
Software identifies
The ECU type is detected from the file; only operations that apply to your file are opened.
Download
Your selected operation is applied, the output is checked, and you download your file from the panel.
Flow
How it works
Upload the original file
Drop the original file you read from the ECU. The ECU type is detected from the file; when it is, you do not need to pick a make/model from a list. If your file is not recognised, the panel asks you to select the vehicle type, make and ECU yourself.
See what is actually applicable
Only solutions that genuinely apply to that file are enabled. Operations that cannot be applied are not shown at all. This pre-check is free.
Apply the operation
The program verifies your selection byte by byte and applies it; the output then passes an independent check. If one of your selected operations cannot be applied, the file is not delivered and the credit is refunded.
Download, fix the checksum if needed
Credit is charged only on successful delivery. Checksum correction happens inside the platform, in a separate tab: 1 credit, charged only when the result is ready. Some newer-generation ECUs (RSA-signed) need an external tool; the system detects this and warns you.

Want to edit the file yourself?
RemapCloud Studio runs in the browser: edit maps in Hex, Table, 2D and 3D view, list ORI/MOD differences and save versions.
What is an ECU file, and which brands and vehicle types are covered?
ORI versus MOD, the operations you can run on your file and the A–Z brand index on one page.
Help
Frequently asked questions
What is a chiptuning file service?
It is the processing of the original software read from a vehicle's ECU for the requested operation. RemapCloud offers this file workflow through automated chiptuning software: upload your file, select an applicable operation and download the result when processing is complete. You write it to the vehicle with your own reading/writing tool; checksum information is included with the result.
Can my file be damaged?
The solution is applied after byte-level verification and the output then passes an independent check (unauthorised bytes, identity area, file size). If one of your selected operations cannot be applied or the output fails the check, the file is not delivered automatically and the credit is refunded. Results that cannot be verified are clearly labelled; still, keep a backup of your original file before flashing.
What happens if one of my selected operations cannot be applied?
The file is not delivered and the credit is refunded. You are told which operation could not be applied.
Am I charged for an operation that is already in my file?
No. If the analysis detects that an operation is already applied in your file, its card cannot be selected and the request is rejected without charging a credit. The same rule applies to operations that are partly applied or whose state cannot be determined.
Will I see in advance if an operation will not fully fit my file?
If the analysis predicts that the solution will only partly fit your file, the operation card says 'partly applied' before you select it. This is a prediction; the outcome is stated in the delivery report.
Is the checksum corrected in the delivered file?
No. The checksum is not corrected in the processed file, so the file is not ready to be written as it is. Before writing, correct the checksum in the RemapChecksum tab, or write the file with your reading tool if it corrects the checksum while writing.
How long does it take?
Compatibility measurement usually takes under a minute; if the solution exists in the library, delivery is usually within minutes. If not, you can leave a request.
Do you do checksum correction?
Yes. Checksum correction happens inside the platform, in a separate tab: 1 credit, charged only when the result is ready. Some newer-generation ECUs (RSA-signed) need an external tool; the system detects this and warns you.
Which vehicles do you cover?
Car, truck and bus, tractor, construction, marine and motorcycle ECUs. The supported ECU list is available on the site.
Is the pre-check free?
Yes. With a free account you can upload your file and see your ECU identified and the operations that apply to your file without spending credits. Credits are used only when you start an operation, and refunded if it cannot be delivered.
What if my file is not recognised?
The panel asks you to pick your vehicle yourself: vehicle type, make and ECU. If the library solution for the ECU you picked fits your file, the operations open; if it does not, they stay closed. This analysis does not use credits. If no applicable operation comes up, you can open a request in the Support & Requests tab of your panel and attach your file.
